Freshiam was founded in the late 2000s, when Tunde Ogunnoiki was living in Atlanta apprenticing to become an artist. During his tenure he realized Fashion was his true passion and created "+FRESH.i.AM+".

The name "+FRESH.i.AM+" was a shield through all the struggles and setbacks he faced. It also served as a reminder to always believe in yourself, and strive to be the freshest version of you.

He teamed up with his friends and started making some tees & laser cut jewelry, but it wasn't until he created his first collection—the State.Of.Mind hat Collection—that Freshiam really took off. The State.Of.Mind Collection consisted of 10 ordinary words cut from fabric and sewn onto each hat. These words were meant to reflect the ideas, thoughts feelings, or the state of mind the wearer wanted to express, rather than some team or logo

Since then freshiam has been sold all over the world from Dubai to Japan and Paris back to Los Angeles; and has been worn by global stars such as WizKid, Rihanna, G-dragon and even more! But this is not why Tunde started Freshiam, our goal was and still is to create pieces that inspire and push the culture forward.

LAVA WASH

DYE PROCESS

The Lava Wash is a proprietary garment dyeing process developed by Freshiam at their wash house in downtown Los Angeles. It involves combining three distinct dyeing techniques in a specific sequence and made in small batches of our Denim Striker jacket and Triple Star flared jeans. This meticulous process ensures that each piece is unique, and one of a kind.

To ensure the longevity and vibrancy of the Purple Lava Wash dye on your Freshiam jeans, proper care and maintenance are essential. Here are some tips to keep your jeans looking fresh :

• Dry clean is the best way to, keep color vibrant.
• If you have to wash, try and wash after atleast 5 wears.
• Always wash jeans inside-out to minimize direct dye contact with other garments
• Only use cold water when washing.
