A few post back, I introduced you guys to my current UK-POP obsession Ellie Goulding. Miss Goulding is an incredible talent on her own, but we all know that behind every awesome electro-pop act is an even better producer/engineer (This would be the case with Ellie; if she wasn’t so damn talented.) Meet Starsmith a pretty awesome producer and dj from London, who knows how to make people dance. Star produces the type of music that the masses will pretty much eat up, He has the uncanny ability to take counter culture bangers and turn them into mainstream heat or vice versa. If you are an artist looking for a producer who can put together a hell of a remix find Starsmith. Many producers atempt to make music with cross over appeal but most fall short. Star creates a sound that is edgy enough for the hipsters, dark enough for the grime kids, yet disco enough for any Dj to bang. Peep out a few samples of Starsmiths production below :
