This past Saturday saw the 2nd installment of Dr. Osaka’s Electroport series. I was even more impressed than before at the vision and dedication that Michael, Rosa and Ben have towards making this event otherworldly. The amazing attention to detail in costumes, hair, makeup and performances is shaping this thing up to be a force to be reckoned with. I could tell you about it but it would do it no justice. Ok fine, here’s a summary: Feathers, 2 choreographed dances, headdresses, professional ballerina, loincloths, Grip Plyaz as king, feathers, shaman drag queen, Minchy Minch sacrifice, and Jager blood shots. Thanks to everyone who came out to Juicy, I had a blast. There was alot of unusual touching and rubbing across both sexes and Cwill managed to take pics with everyone I mean EVERYONE . . . Congratulations to Corey Davis and City of Ink for putting together a great event. While I love art shows, art parties are where it’s at. They’re a lot less formal and just about every piece has its own style and technique to admire (or critique). And, being that it was a group show, the heightened amount of creative energy packed into such a small space was simply electrifying and inspiring. It was like a petrie dish in there.
